Pre-Pre Departure
So as mentioned previously, to obtain a visa, one will have to get a full body check up by an approved clinic. There was one near my place at Ang Mo Kio so I went there after booking an appointment. There's not much point actually because I had to wait for a longer time than my friend, who apparently just walked in on a clinic one day. The check up is nothing scary. They informed me over the phone that "a male doctor will be touching your breasts", verbatim. I was like "whattttttt" and the operator shyly repeated it again. Nothing to be scared of though. Most doctors are pretty tactful and won't make it weird for you. Xray was over in just 2 seconds. They were all "are you sure you're not pregnant? This can affect your baby!!" and I had to repeat it over and over again that I'm def. not. pregnant. to replies of "are you sure??????"
