2023 reflexion

 Things I do not regret about 2023:


  1. Not being hospitalised (CORRECTION- WENT TO SKH IN FEB)
  2. #Funtirement
  3. Maldives in August (Outrigger)
  4. Working in GLO (Prudential)
  5. teaching and meeting Nicole
  6. Moving into Kingsford in November
  7. Melbourne trip in December

Things I massively regret about 2023:

  1. Failed suicide attempt in Oct
  2. not filing my taxes (NOA 2024 is 0 lol)
  3. not buying a property with my gaogao NOA 23/22 from corporate
  4. not bothering to upskill myself

NGL I hate coding but that's something so important for the future. I passed the 42 piscine test and never gotten down to attending the course uwu.

perhaps something I can hope to do in 2025?

Better l8 than never ;P

Before getting to Canberra, you'll have to get a Certificate of Enrollment Health insurance Student visa The first will be sent to you once you've been given a place in the university of your choice. It acts as an official document of acceptance and is needed to apply for the next 2 documents. I got it through my course coordinator (Melissa) in NUS and it's really fuss free. I can't help much with the application process though, since most of it is done by Melissa. Next, the OSHC health insurance. It's not so much of an insurance to me.. From what I've gathered, Oz provides free healthcare and by buying this insurance, you're entitling yourself to the free visits as well. It's a must for every student to buy it since they have to prevent freeriders from ruining the system. Pre-Pre Departure

So as mentioned previously, to obtain a visa, one will have to get a full body check up by an approved clinic. There was one near my place at Ang Mo Kio so I went there after booking an appointment. There's not much point actually because I had to wait for a longer time than my friend, who apparently just walked in on a clinic one day. The check up is nothing scary. They informed me over the phone that "a male doctor will be touching your breasts", verbatim. I was like "whattttttt" and the operator shyly repeated it again. Nothing to be scared of though. Most doctors are pretty tactful and won't make it weird for you. Xray was over in just 2 seconds. They were all "are you sure you're not pregnant? This can affect your baby!!" and I had to repeat it over and over again that I'm def. not. pregnant. to replies of "are you sure??????" Jan2025 dump

Historically, long hiatus on my site means I'm down and dprsd BUT NOT IN JAN. It's been so FULL - of Fun, Unity, Love, Logic. Quick apologies that I haven't been able to figure out how to rotate my photos so we'll just have to bear with me until I do :P Dad helping out around the house- changing the 20 year old door handles on our 20 yo cabinets with a pretty cool auto screw driver.
